Take with you from home
The villa is well equipped and the local stores sell everything you may need. So, you don’t have to bring
many things with you.
Still a few hints:
- We offer a small library with, however, mainly books in Dutch. The amount of English books is
increasing as recent guests sometimes leave their books behind. But if you like reading and
Dutch isn’t your language… take some books of your own!
- We also have a small DVD-collection. Many of them are in English language with subtitles to
choose for (always in Dutch, but in most cases other languages too). Please leave the DVD’s in the villa.
- If you use personal medicine, please do take enough of it with you. It may be wise to take prescriptions
with you (in English is OK).
- You can buy anti-insect spray best on the island itself as it is cheap and very effective; you will
need ‘tropical strenght’.
- We do have some travel guides at the villa, but if you want to explore the island, you may buy some
of your own or obtain at the Tourist Office.
- All linens, towels (incl. beach towels) are in the villa. You don’t have to bring these items with you.
- Adapter plugs (220 to 110 Volt and vice versa) are also available. But be careful with pluggin in
110V applances in 220V-sockets!
