After entering through the double entry doors, you are in the very spacious living room where you
will find two sofa's, chairs, some cabinets and lights. It also has a large TV (43", satellite,
with a number of English spoken channels for sports, news and movies) and a DVD-player playing
both European and American standards. So, feel free to bring your own DVD's to enjoy some movies during
your holiday.
And are you coming in during Christmastime? We will arrange a nicely decorated and illuminated
Christmas tree!
In the dining room there is a large table with chairs. From the dining room a door leads to the large
terrace (with ‘palapa’ and pool area. Just across the pool you will find the large covered porch (60 m2,
about 700 sq ft), where you will always find a shaded seat, regardless the time of day.
Just behind the dining area there is a large side table on which you will find a high speed DSL connection (wired
via Ethernet cable). So, bring your own laptop and just connect. This service is, due to still high costs of
DSL on Curacao, available at a small charge.
From the dining room you will go to the large kitchen, with all appliances you are used to at home: large stove,
oven, microwave, fridge (incl. Icemaker and cold water dispenser), dishwasher, blender, toaster and coffeemaker.
A large double sink with warm water (not a very common thing in holiday apartments on Curaçao!) makes the
kitchen complete. All appliances are recent (2006). The kitchen has both 220V and 110V-sockets.
There is a large area connecting the living room and the bedrooms, where a separate children’s corner is
situated. Toys are stored in a nicely decorated box, there is a blackboard and some furniture to let the kids
play in their own part of the house.
In the home you will find several phone jackets; incoming calls are free of charge. For outgoing calls you can
buy a phone card.
The ground floor also hosts three bedrooms, all designed in contemporary colours and of course provided with
very silent air conditioners (split level type) with remote control.
The bedding is all of the box spring type, size 90 x 200 cm (36 x 80 inch) and they are placed next to each
other to form a king size bed if you like. Enough closets and cabinets in each room provide enough space to store
all your items. One of these bedrooms hosts a children’s bed (60 x 120 cm; 24 x 48 inch).
Furthermore, there is a separate room with a washing machine (heated water) and a dryer, of which
the use is complimentary during your stay. You only have to buy your own detergent (most common brands can be
bought in the large supermarkets).
The garage on the left side of the home is used privately (storing our own things and extra items to
make your stay comfortable), so this part can not be used.
